When the circuit drops,
we’re already on it.

Leonidas watches every circuit end to end. The moment one degrades, we detect it, open the ticket, and drive the carrier case for you — so you wake up to a resolved incident and an SLA report, not a surprise outage.

Detection, response, and proof — handled.

Always-on detection

24/7 reachability, latency, and packet-loss monitoring on every circuit and second-WAN. We see degradation before your users do.

Automatic ticketing

The moment a circuit breaches, a ticket opens automatically — with the timeline, the affected site, and the carrier details already attached.

Managed carrier response

On Premium and Managed plans we open and drive the carrier case for you — packet, circuit ID, and follow-ups — so nobody on your team is on hold at 3 AM.

Auto-close + root cause

When the circuit recovers, the ticket closes itself with the downtime logged and a short root-cause note for the record.

SLA + uptime reporting

Every incident rolls into a monthly SLA report — uptime, mean time to recovery, and per-circuit history you can hand straight to leadership.

$0 vendor licensing

Built on hardware you own outright. No recurring per-device license — your spend goes to keeping circuits up, not to renewals.

$0 in vendor licensing. Ever.

Most monitored networks quietly bill a recurring per-device license on top of the hardware. We build on gear you own outright — so your spend goes to keeping the circuit up, not to a vendor’s renewal invoice.

The license-stack way
  • Per-firewall and per-AP licenses billed every year
  • Advanced security + SD-WAN features locked behind license tiers
  • Let a license lapse and features stop — the renewal is not optional
  • License cost scales with every device you add
The Leonidas way
  • UniFi hardware you buy once and own outright
  • No recurring per-device license to the vendor — ever
  • Full feature set included; nothing expires on renewal
  • You pay for monitoring + management, not for permission to use your gear

Comparison reflects the recurring-license model common to Cisco Meraki and Fortinet FortiGate deployments. Vendor names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Common questions about Circuit Monitoring.

What does Leonidas monitor?
Every internet circuit and second-WAN failover at every site — reachability, latency, packet loss, and uptime. On Managed Network plans we also monitor the firewall, switching, and Wi-Fi behind them.
How fast do you detect an outage?
Continuous polling means we typically detect a hard-down or significant degradation within about a minute, and a ticket opens automatically with the incident timeline attached.
Do you handle the carrier for us?
On Premium Monitoring and Managed Network, yes — we open the carrier case with the circuit ID, drive the follow-ups, and close the ticket when service is restored. Circuit Watch covers detection, alerting, and reporting; you or your team work the carrier.
Is there really no vendor licensing cost?
Correct. We standardize on UniFi hardware you own outright, with no recurring per-device license. You pay Leonidas for monitoring and management — not a vendor for permission to use your own equipment.
What does it cost?
Circuit Watch starts at $49 per circuit, Premium Monitoring at $149–$179 per circuit depending on term, and Managed Network is custom-scoped from $499 a month. Use the configurator for a live estimate; we confirm the final number on a short review call.
